Pratheeksha De-Addiction Centre established in 1994, situated in the northern side of the airport. The vision of the centre is to bring the addicted person out of the clutches of substance abuse and alcoholism. The centre is having 35 beds; every month 15 patients are provided free treatment. Treatment duration is 21 days.

Daleview, Punalal

Dale View is a registered secular, non-governmental, voluntary organization under the Travancure-Cochin Literary, scientific and charitable society’s registration Act at 1978. It is located at Punalal, a remote village 27 km north east of Trivandrum. This centre was started in the year 1991 by the initiation of late K.C.Mathew. ICSD is now headed by Mrs. Mariamma is primarily intended for the treatment of alcoholics. The primary objective of the centre is to provide de-addiction programme, creating awareness among the public against alcoholism and observe the national and international days.
